Reno Omokri slams FG over Reuben Abati

The former aide of ex President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has slammed the government over the continued detention of Reuben Abati.

Abati, a former aide of Jonathan, was picked up by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly collecting N50m from Sambo Dasuki.

Omokri, in a tweet, wondered why the Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi is walking free, after allegedly spending N500m on a party for Prof. Wole Soyinka.

He said “Reuben Abati allegedly got ₦50 million from Dasuki and goes to jail. Rotimi Amaechi admittedly spent $500k on Soyinka & becomes a minister!”

Reuben Abati is still in EFCC’s custody, despite meeting his bail condition, reports say.
