Adele breaks Billboard record after her album '21' spends 319 weeks on the chart

The studio album called 21 by the British singer Adele which was released on 24th of January 2011 has now surpasses that of Carole King’s 1971 “Tapestry”, with 319 weeks on the chat to 318 of Carole king's Tapestry


Billboard made this known to the public on Friday 7th 2017, saying that, while Adele’s album has appeared on the chart every week since its debut, King’s dipped out of the ranking in 1977 after 302 weeks, and reappeared in 2010.

"In all, Adele’s “21” is the 11th longest-charting album on the Billboard chart.
