'The voice Nigeria, MTN project fame and the rest are all dream killers'- Entertainment/Social Analyst, Akinyele Solchild

Read his piece below....

I was privileged to come across the winner of @theVoiceUK the Nigerian/UK talented vocal artiste @imjustcalledmo Mo Adeniran's story of life after the competition.

Unlike our own The Voice , Mtn Project Fame @projectfamewestafrica and the rest others, do you know at the end of the competition, there is already a winner's song(project) that is billed for radio tour, media privileges, available on all major music distribution channels worldwide. A record deal with one of UK's finest music company and obviously a proper management deal to maintain the whole runs.

The only useful benefit ours give the contestants is the platform and period of time that they can survive on the show, the rest commitment are just mere paper tiger deals which has never survived any brand.
The last winner of project fame Okiemute @theokiemute has just dropped a video of her single that she is supposed to have dropped and performed in many sold out concerts nationwide weeks immediately after the show ended.
I can't even say this is what has happened to @ankemokpae the winner of The Voice Naija@thevoicenaija
Meanwhile we are in a country were attention span is very short, yes very short in Onyeka@blackbaronofparis word.

These platforms ain't fair to their subjects, I'll rather advise anybody that still believe that their destiny is on a reality show to always have a plan B. Just like our government, they don't really care about you, they are just users. After they have made their money/fame using you as a tool to achieving that, they move on and get another set of mugus to be used in another edition.

Your career dey your hand. Na only you fit safe yourself. Where is iMike @mikeanyasodothat talented project fame contestant that year?
