7th Annual Charity Lecture of the Less Privileged Children Encouragement Initiative (EI)


The EI Academy Alumni Forum; The 7th Annual Charity Lecture of the Less Privileged Children Encouragement Initiative (EI)  was held on Easter Monday 2nd April,
2018 at the Bisirodipe Mega Halls, GRA, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria with the topic  DRUG, CRIME AND THE LESS PRIVILEGED AFRICAN CHILD which was beautifully and brilliantly delivered by Mrs. Grace Oyebola Adetula (an International Consultant on Drug Control and Crime prevention, Children and Youth Matters)  under the distinguished chairmanship of Prof Lasun Gbadamosi of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria.

Also present to give a goodwill message was Dr. Tokunbo Awolowo Dosunmu, who expressed her support and that of the Awolowo Foundation for all EI is doing. 

Also present at the event was Hon. Adebowale Ojuri of the Ogun State House of Assembly who congratulated and gave kudos to EI while encouraging everyone to play their part in helping the less privileged African child. 

Members of the academia,  clergy, retirees, professionals, principals, headteachers and teachers,  students from primary, secondary and tertiary institutions,   members of the Lions Club,  Rotary Club,  Enactus etc. and many others were all in attendance. 

34 less privileged students who are on EI collaborative scholarship (with other organisations) in different schools were also in attendance with their guardians or parents. 

The EI Academy Alumni Forum also at the event received her new members after their investiture. 

The winner of the 15th edition of the EI Bible Quiz was also announced at the event.  Mr. Abidemi Shabi from Lagos went home with an android tablet for coming first in the competition while Mrs Oludamola Adegbuyi went home with a washing machine for coming second and also went home with a 2-burner gas stove for being the last 'female standing'  in the competition.  

Mr.  Debo Pelumi came third with a gift of solar Lantern with panel.  The gifts were donated by different individuals. 14 others also received their prizes at the event while about 300 others will receive their prizes in a fortnight. See more pictures below!!...
