STARS TO WATCH IN THE UPCOMING QUARTERS FINALS AT RUSSIA 2018

Uruguay Vs France: Friday, 6th June. 3pm

Diego Godin is not new to football lovers across the globe when it comes to depending and that is what he has shown in the past four games for Uruguay.

His leadership attributes and aerial prowess is what Uruguay have been benefitting from and he will need to be at his best once again with defensive partner Jimenez when they face their Athletico Madrid teammates Griezman, Mbappe and Giroud on Friday.

Luis Suarez too will be a determinant factor to this game even if not scoring goals but the hardwork he will bring and pressure on France defenders.

France;

Kylian Mbappe has shown right from his breakthrough season with Monaco in 2016/2017 that age is just a number as we have seen with LIONEL MESSI back then, this guy is still a teenager but has carried the burden of this Franchise team on his shoulder when senior players like Griezman and Giroud has not been up to their best.

Notable mentions too will be Ngolo Kante and Raphael Varane

BRAZIL Vs BELGIUM: Friday, 6th June. 7pm

Neymar has not been in hua best form at this World Cup due to the injury he sustained somehow around February with his club PSG but he has so far showed the trust over 140million Brazilians have in him with performances against Serbia and Mexico. The Brazilian players looked up to him for inspiration and the game against Belgium will be tough and I know the Belgians are all aware of how tricky Neymar can be by falling easily for tackles.

The suspension to Casemiro will give FernandInho his first start at this World Cup which will also be his biggest game for the Selecao but I expect him to bring Steel, Power and his passing game (which Casemiro lacks)to the Brazilians play which will be crucial.

Belgium;

Eden Hazard has shown the World why Roberto Martinez entrust him with the captaincy ahead of senior players like Kompany and Vertonghen was a wise decision because he has demonstrated been a leader with the performances he has had so far at this World Cup. Since the first time I saw this guy play for Lille in 2012/2013 season, that anytime he's on top of his game, it will be very difficult to play against and Tite ( Brazil Coach) will have his tactical approach on Hazard with the help of his club teammates Willian. Roberto Martinez show there is always a Maroune Fellaini in his plan B if his team is in difficult situation either needing a goal or trying to defend a goal be cause of his height and aerial ability.

SWEDEN Vs ENGLAND: Saturday 7th June, 3pm

Victor Lindelof might not have proof himself to be a starter in the colours of Manchester United, but his form in this tournament has been exceptional which. This Sweden team has been known to be a defensive minded one and with Lindelof at the back, they have not conceded a goal in all games he has started. His presence will be needed as usual in this encounter with the three lions who are knowing for their attacking approach.

Emil Forsberg of RB Leipzig is that player that plays with freedom and will be difficult for the English boys.

England;

First player that comes to mind in the English team is none other than Harry Kane because he's been one of the brightest striker in Europe for the last 2 years now. His good form and leadership quality earned him the International Captaincy since the retirement of Wayne Rooney. He's presently the top scorer in the ongoing Russia 2018 with six goals including three penalties and a deflected goal. If this English team can maintain their food form, with the inclusion of Kane, they have the chance to make it to the final.

Notable mention is Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford who showed against Colombia that England can move on from their Penalty Shootouts dilemma.

RUSSIA Vs CROATIA: Saturday, 7th June, 7pm

CSKA Moscow talisman Aleksandr Golovin's creativity and work rate can be argued to be the reason for the surprised success of the Russian team at this Mundial. He has got a goal and  couple of assists and he's simply the one behind the counter attacking play we have seen from his team. His impressive display has arrady caught the attention of top European teams like Chelsea and Arsenal to try in signing him.

Igor Akinfeev too will be key for the Russians.

Croatia;

Modric has shown the world why he has been arguably the best mieldfield player in the World right now. Physical strength might not be one of his asset or quality but his tactical brilliance has ever been in doubt.

Ante Rebic is that player the Russians must look forward to contain when they face on Saturday.

Thank you for your time and response will be appreciated and hope you're enjoying #RUSSIA2018
