So I decided to pen down some writings concerning the protest saga. Trust me, I really love when people showed that they can do things even without the appropriate authorities, and I must say that Feb 6 protest was something that will be remembered for at least for now.

But to what end? What next after the protest? Were our voices really heard? Who and who led the protest? Does it have any impact on our leaders? Revolution or Protest? These and many more are the questions that comes to mind.
Machiavelli said "actors(leader/states/groups) act to pursue their own interests" he further said "there is no point in trying to achieve aims which are unrealizable or impractical. Please, don't get me wrong! I am not saying yesterday's protest won't have any impact, at least we must start from somewhere but we need to be realistic and practical here. When and how should we expect positive answers?

I quite agree with Oni Ademola when he differentiated between the wealthy, the rich, the privileged, the sustained, and the poor. The wealthy and the rich will never argue with you, they believe they have what it takes to survive likewise the rest of the social classifications, some believe "they don't have what it takes to protest or fight" some even go as far as saying "their lives and that of their families are more precious". They have forgotten that if they don't act now, no one will do it for them.

Even in the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and only the violent men take it by force".

A protest is OK but I strongly believe in revolution and until then, things will still remain the same.
