The BUIMUN offers young people a wide range of opportunities to improve upon themselves.

Real life learning takes place in BUIMUN, that is, equipping young people with practical diplomatic skills such as : research skills, writing skills, public speaking, lobbying and negotiations, debating and committee proceedings, dressing professionally, diplomatic lectures and lots more 😀 Similarly, delegates are welcomed from all fields in Sciences, Arts and Humanities and Commercial such as: Medicine, Nursing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting etc.

BUIMUN conference is not always about the formal debate sessions, social events such as cultural night, birthday celebration, sports and tour party are made part of the conference events to help delegates get refreshed and most importantly, offer them the opportunity to interact amongst themselves which will end up creating friendship.

Interestingly, GIMUN 2016 Best Delegate was Samuel Chiemela a graduate of History and International Studies, Babcock University gifted and trained with skills in diplomacy and teaching. At GIMUN 2016 held in Accra on 5th-9th January, he was representing Gabon in the Social, humanitarian and Cultural Committee.
