Y'all better stop eating cow!....at least for now, for future purposes. That's what the Agriculture Minister, Audu Ogbeh is saying yea!
According to him, things might get out of hands if care is not taking, Nigeria, in the nearest future might suffer scarcity of cow meat.
"Imagine what Port Harcourt consumes; or Umuahia, Abuja, Kano, Kaduna and Maiduguri. If you add it up, we may be eating up to 80,000 to 90,000 cows a day and we are not calving as many".
"Which means a day will come, if the West Africans don’t come into Nigeria with their cows, we may find out we have no cattle. So, that's an economic danger that faces us."
He made mention of all that during his meeting with the newsmen ahead of the National Conference on Transformation of Livestock which were to hold in Abuja on Tuesday.
Basically...baba is saying we should eat less than necessary, sonext time Agric prefect is speaking, y'all better listen. Lol!
