Uganda MPs punch ups..!!

It's gone from bad to worst for Uganda MPs threw punches to one another over a debate on whether to grant president Yoweri Museveni another term in office. "What is Africa's Problem" author has been in office since January 29 1986 till now. Nah wah!

The news of going for another term has reached some of the opposition groups, from Civic rights activists, the political opposition, religious leaders and even some of his own political party members and they aren't in support of it.

Government and opposition lawmakers came to blows after the House speaker allowed a ruling party legislator to introduce a motion to kick-start a process to remove an age cap from Uganda’s constitution to allow Museveni to run for re-election.

Under the existing constitution, a person standing for President must be under 75 years of age - which would make Museveni, 73, ineligible to stand at the next polls in 2021.

But all in all....Uganda MPs should next time ask Nigeria NAS how its done...!!
